The University of Tartu - project coordinator

The University of Tartu, established in 1632, is Estonia’s oldest and most prestigious university, renowned for its research excellence and strong international collaborations. As a comprehensive university, it offers high-level education and cutting-edge research in fields ranging from natural and social sciences to technology and humanities. In this project, the University of Tartu acts as the coordinating partner, leveraging its expertise and leadership in research-driven innovation.

Aalto University​

Aalto University, founded in 2010 through the merger of three major Finnish institutions, is a multidisciplinary community bringing together science, technology, business, and the arts. Located in Espoo, Finland, Aalto is globally recognized for fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable solutions. The university actively collaborates with industry and society to tackle complex global challenges through research and education.

Algoryx Simulation AB​

Algoryx Simulation AB is a Swedish software company specializing in high-fidelity, real-time physics simulation tools for engineering, robotics, and training applications. Founded in 2007 as a spin-off from Umeå University, Algoryx is best known for its AGX Dynamics engine and the educational 2D physics sandbox, Algodoo.

Clevon AS

Clevon AS is an Estonian technology company that develops and manufactures autonomous delivery robots, aiming to revolutionize last-mile delivery with innovative, environmentally friendly, and efficient solutions. Their mission is to contribute towards a climate-neutral economy by creating energy-saving autonomous delivery systems.

Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU)​

Founded in 1707, the Czech Technical University in Prague is one of the oldest and most prestigious technical universities in Europe. CTU offers a wide range of engineering and technology programs and is renowned for its outstanding achievements and academic reputation in the sciences.

FZI Research Center for Information Technology

The FZI Research Center for Information Technology is a non-profit foundation based in Karlsruhe, Germany, dedicated to applied research in computer science and technology transfer. Established in 1985, FZI collaborates with industry and public institutions to provide cutting-edge research findings and qualifies young researchers for careers in academia and business.

Komatsu​

Komatsu Ltd. is a Japanese multinational corporation that manufactures construction, mining, forestry, and industrial heavy equipment, as well as diesel engines and industrial machinery. Founded in 1921, Komatsu is the world’s second-largest manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, with a global presence and a commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Novatron​

Novatron Fusion Group AB is a Swedish company focused on developing fusion energy systems, aiming to produce clean, safe, and virtually limitless energy through stable and effective magnetic confinement. Their NOVATRON reactor represents a significant step towards commercial fusion power.

Tampere University

Tampere University, established in 2019 through the merger of the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology, is one of Finland’s most multidisciplinary universities. It brings together research and education in technology, health, and society, fostering innovation and collaboration across various fields.

Toshiba Europe

Toshiba Europe GmbH is the European branch of Toshiba Corporation, a global leader in electronics and electrical equipment. The company operates across multiple industries, providing innovative solutions in information technology, manufacturing, and research and development.

Umeå University

Umeå University, founded in 1965, is a public research university located in Umeå, Sweden. It is one of Sweden’s largest universities, known for its strong international presence and research in various fields, including the genome of the poplar tree and the Norway Spruce.
